For the first time in Klimb history, the 2011 Kusam Klimb had to be cancelled due to avalanche risk. As a result, there are no race results to post.

As you can see in the picture above, there was an ominous-looking cornice perched at the top of Mt. Kusam, which posed a serious avalanche danger. Though the Kusam Klimb committee worked tirelessly to try and resolve the issue, it just wasn't possible. With the safety of our Klimbers being our number one priority, we had no choice but to cancel the race. Onward to 2012!
